Dr. Mirota earned his PhD in Computer Science at Hopkins under the supervision of Greg Hager, where his work involved registration of endoscopic video with cone-beam CT for image-guided skull base surgery. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Hopkins to see such work through to groundbreaking first clinical studies.

Dr. Mirota is now a Research Engineer at Intel, San Francisco CA.
